Redrock - First for quality and reliability

Redrock Engineering has been synonymous with the highest standards of slurry pump and tanker manufacture for the past two decades and more. But the company does not take its market leadership position for granted and remains totally committed to a research and development programme.

It will be focussed on meeting the needs of farmers and contractors in terms of getting slurry mixed pumped, transported and spread in the most efficient way possible.

"We are fully aware of the growing environmental and other pressures that are on farmers in terms of handling and spreading slurry," said Redrock's Alastair Hinchcliff.

"And we will be developing our systems to meet this need in full."

Slurry Pumps
Redrock's heritage as a leading manufacturer of PTO driven slurry pumps and tankers remains unsurpassed.
The company's award winning slurry pump has a number of features which make it unique. And after years of design and development it now gives the highest output of slurry with the lowest H.P. requirement. It requires no disconnection of the power shaft entering or leaving tanks. It has its own integrated slat lifting device to lift and remove the slats allowing the pump to be lowered into the tank. All are hydraulically controlled from the tractor seat and the unique external screw rotor prevents blockage and increases output.

Vacuum Tankers
There are two reasons why Redrock is one of the fastest growing machinery manufacturers: strength and reliability.

The Vacuum tanker is one of a range of machines on which the Redrock reputation has been built. The Redrock tanker is rolled from 6mm steel and is welded both internally and externally.

The tanker has 100mm x 50mm channel anti enclosure rings welded inside the tank to give extra strength. Most tankers have a heavy duty 250mm x 150mm drawbar, which can be sprung if requested.

The Redrock Vacuum Tankers come standard with lights, hydraulic brakes, parking brake, hydraulic change over on the vacuum pump and a quick attach suction hose with four possible fill points. A 50mm valve is fitted to the rear of all tankers so that a wash down hose can be fitted.

Quick Attach Hose Coupler
All Redrock tankers now have a quick attach hose coupler which can be fitted to any one of the four fill points.

Redrock Sludgigator
The Redrock Sludgigator allows slurry to be spread from the road if conditions prove to be difficult. The rain gun, sited on top of the tank, can spread slurry up to 90m and is able to be rotated hydraulically from the tractor through 360°. The Sludgigator has an 8000 l/min vacuum pump so it can be used as a standard tanker.

Tandem Sprung Steering Axle
The Redrock Tandem Sprung Steering Axle has the advantage of having heavy duty multiple leaf axle springs and a combined bogie system which ensure even weight transfer to the ground. The rear steering wheels follow the front wheels which eliminates wheel scrub and excessive wheel scrub and field marking.

Sprung Drawbar
The unique Redrock Sprung Drawbar design eliminates shock loads being transferred from the tanker drawbar to the tractor pick up hitch therefore giving a smooth ride with reduced wear to both tractor and tanker.

Tyres
The correct choice of tyres is an important decision when buying a tanker. Redrock are able to advise farmers which tyres would best suit their own particular situation. A wide choice is available from the standard BN3 Russian to the ultra low ground pressure 700 Trelleborg. Tankers come in a range of sizes from 850 to 3,000 gallons
